A Big Fat Note to Myself (and anyone else who could use it)

Don’t miss this…

Because of this…

They grow up way too fast…

And you can’t get the time back.

Something important to think about…

Teri Lynne Underwood

Oh Michelle, I think we are in the same place right now … thank you for being so real. And for sharing truth. You are treasure, friend. Looking forward to seeing you at Blissdom!

Aw, Teri Lynne, you are such an encouragement to me… thank you! You’ve warmed my heart with your words. I’ll be praying for both of us, and I can’t wait to see you again!

Thank you for this Michelle. It is way too easy to get caught up in things that can wait and miss out on the really important things in life.

I constantly remind a friend this – over and over and over – And you can’t get the time back.

SO beautiful. I have two little Batmen at home. Few days are spent at our home without capes flying in the wind. I wrote a little something along these lines at the MOB Society last year. Linked to it :) It’s called, “He’ll Always Be My Baby.” Lots of fun pictures of my two caped crusaders.

My youngest is 19. They DO grow up fast. Sometimes I still see the 4-yr-old in pigtails hugging her dolly. Awesome pictures you will treasure forever.

So very true … great advice, Michelle! My youngest is 21 already, and I’m so thankful for every minute I spent with my kids. :)

Ah, yes! Lately, I’ve been convicted about playing more with my children; stopping what I’m doing and just being with them. It has been incredibly rewarding. My boys have the same batman costume, and a spiderman one. They put them on earlier this week, and ran around chasing me. I laughed so hard. These pictures remind me of that – thanks.

Reminds me of my son a few years ago. He’s almost 11 now and has outgrown his batman costume. It does go by so fast! Great pics, and a great reminder. :o)

Or as I would have titled this blog post had it been written by me: “Why I Gave Up My Android” :)

Thanks for sharing!

Beautiful photos that witness to the fact that you are soaking it all in with those precious boys of yours!

We’re all blessed with the same amount of time in a day — but as you point out so well, once it’s gone, it’s gone! May we all be good stewards of the time, talents, resources, and money’s He’s entrusted to us. Thanks for the beautiful reminder!
Love in Him,

I love the one looking straight down on batman. Love it!

Cranberry Morning

I love those sweet photos! And I love it when kids are the age that they love wearing costumes. Isn’t that a fun time of life!!!

How they do grow!! Enjoy each day and allow them to laugh and have fun. This is what he is doing in these photos. He will remember this day and so will you. God loves us as children and he desires that we enjoy life. No gloom and doom today, only praise regardless of our circumstances.

Thank you all for taking the time to comment! I so appreciate hearing from you! xoxo Michelle

Oh that hit me hard. Mine is 5 and the moments have gone by so fast – I am thankful that I have had my phone to document the silliness, the beauty and the treasures that will make me cry on her wedding day. Thanks for the sweet reminder of life and time.
