Wildflowers and Worm Dirt

Things are much better today! The boys had their playgroup and I had coffee shop time with a girlfriend who introduced me to E-mealz and Aldi (check them out…seriously). Homeschool reading and writing went very well today with an “I love reading!” exclamation which has only happened once before. We’re all getting back into the swing of things and I’m getting back to normal… near normal. ;) (I was a little mopey when I found that I lost a FB fan after my last post, but oh well). I’m back to fraddling… played frisbee and “golf” with my littlest one and watched my oldest build pyramids with neat building blocks (listening to every detail). ;) I even planted a little plant with some of our worm castings from the worm bin. It’s been a really nice day. And I’m sitting next to a  lovely vase of blue flowers picked from the yard by sweet little hands and a sweet little one eating mac-and-cheese on an outdoor “picnic.” I hope your day is going well! ♥ And now I’m off to the movies on a date with my husband… thanks, Cali!

Pleasant Memories Soon of this wonderful day!

Thanks be to God! I thought this round would never end! ;) lol

Alicia The Snowflake

I’m glad you are having a better day. Hope you enjoyed the date with your hubby. That always puts me in a better mood ;)

Some Girl

Thanks, Alicia! We went to the eat-in-movies and had a great time. It’s nice to have a better mood (and it’s always nice to “see” you)! :)

Oh it sounds like a perfect time with your little buddies. I did not get to comment on your one post about snapping, b/c I think I too was snapping at that moment.

I too find it the greatest balancing act to weigh the impatience and the demands of the little voices. Sometimes, I am truly amazed at how insistent and one track they are about one thing that my “just a minute” does not quell.

I have my boys sing the patience song from when I was little and it sometimes helps, sometimes not :-)

“Have patience, have patience, don’t be in such a hurry
When you get impatient, you only start to worry
Remember, remember that God has patience with you
Remember that the next time that you need some patience too.”

Some Girl

I love the use of songs to teach children… I couldn’t remember the rest of the words when my oldest one was little so I made up some words. lol

“Have patience, have patience, don’t be in such a hurry
When you get impatient, you only start to worry
Remember what we know, that God is in control
Sometimes He has us wait for things, just to help us grow.”

(It’s always brings a smile when you comment, Heather! ♥ Thanks!)
