An Easy Going Day (and one of my favorite songs)

by SomeGirl on June 28, 2010 · 10 comments

Thank you for all the sweet comments on my last post! We’re all MUCH better now… we were even able to make it out to the blueberry farm yesterday to enjoy 30 minutes of picking before they closed (since it was SO HOT 30 minutes was just right for us)! :)

I’ll share photos on SomeGirl’sWebsite’s FB page soon.

Today we’re just hanging out. We all woke up late and if the boys get their checklists done we’re going to see Furry Vengeance. It looks like silly slapstick humor, but it should be a nice break from the heat.

In honor of this easy going day, I’ll keep this post short and share one of my favorite songs with you. Hope you enjoy it! ♥ Michelle

Man, I LOVE that!!! How GREAT is our God!!!

photo from our day trip yesterday to the blueberry farm… we had a friend’s daughter with us, we didn’t add a sweet little girl without letting you know. ;)

I’m so glad to hear you’re all better and got to go blueberry picking! And what a great way to start the week with that wonderful song!

SomeGirl

Thank you, Deb! ♥

Yay! Glad you got to go blueberry picking!
And I was wondering about the girl in the pic after you mentioned the boys and their checklists… I was thinking, but what about hers? Wait, which kids are theirs? :-)

SomeGirl

Haha! I thought the photo could be confusing, but I thought it was too cute (and candid) not to use. :) Just trying to spice things up a bit. ;) LOL

SomeGirl

Thanks, Rachel! I felt like you when I was posting this. And how funny that we both shared Chris Tomlin songs this week. :) I’m heading over to your blog now to find out how you’ve been “coasting.” ♥

SomeGirl

ooops… now that I’ve read your always-great-to-read-blog, I see that you’re not coasting, but rather it’s a GREAT example of what to be careful of. :) Just thought I’d clarify here.

(and if you’re here visiting and checking out the comment section, I’d HIGHLY recommend Rachel’s blog http://www.a-steady-rain.com/) a little plug for my good blogging friend. :)

So glad you are all better! I bet those blueberries were great! :) And I love that song!!! It is one of the first I ever sang in church!

SomeGirl
