Fraddling Around the World (while never leaving your seat)

by SomeGirl on May 14, 2010

This week’s fraddle all started on Twitter when I read someone’s “tweet” about donating their swagbucks to Nashville Flood relief. Swagbucks will convert your bucks to dollars then donate them directly to the Nashville Red Cross. It’s a relatively low conversion rate of .07cents per buck, but it all adds up if lots of us do it! I donated all my whopping 200sb which comes to around $1.40… BUT… if 100 of us do that it would come to $140… and if we do like the shampoo commercial and  tell 2 friends and they tell 2 friends and so on and so on… you get the picture, right? ;) Sign up for swagbucks here.

Then, I found this GREAT blog offering a GIVEAWAY for a wonderful product… HopeSuds – Citrus (an all-natural detergent, with a bright, citrus-y scent.  Hints of lemongrass mingle with oranges and lemons for this happy sniff.  Only natural essential oils used for fragrance.  HE safe.) I LOVE their tag line: Do Laundry. Save Orphans.  The founder of the company is raising money to finalize their adoption of a child from Uganda. 100% of proceeds go toward their adoption. And once their adoption is finalized, the proceeds will go to help other families adopt! Isn’t that AWESOME!!? Check it out here at Heart&Home: in search of authenticity (I think you’ll LOVE it! And if you’ll spread the word you’ll be fraddling for this sweet family and sweet children waiting for families)!

Here’s another neat product (and company) I learned about through Heart&HomeThrive Africa. Heart and Home is hosting another GIVEAWAY of Thrive Africa Blend Coffee: certified fair trade and organic coffee from Ethiopia. Thrive Africa’s vision is to disciple Believers, equip leaders, and strengthen the Church in Southern Africa. They accomplish this through AIDS prevention, pastoral development, discipleship classes, youth camps, mission trips, and more.  If you LOVE coffee or know someone who does, spread the word!!! This is our chance to fraddle for fair trade farmers in Ethiopia! ♥ (and to get some delicious coffee!) ;)

There we have it… Fraddling Around the World (while never leaving your seat)!:)

And now, I told the boys I’d take them to IHOP for brunch to use a gift certificate we have. I’ll see you guys soon! Let’s put feet to our faith and love in actions and in truth! Have a GREAT weekend!!
