Have it, love it – Love it, gotta have it! {A Pampered Chef Party}

by SomeGirl on September 26, 2011 · 6 comments

Woohoo! It’s time for a party here at SomeGirl’s Website and you’re all invited!

This isn’t just any kind of party, it’s a Pampered Chef party, which you might know always included delicious food!

So… let’s start by passing around some delicious Smore’s Cups, made especially for YOU. :)

Don’t they look delicious?! (You can get the recipe by clicking on the photo… it will open a printable page with all you need to know to make these yummy treats!)

Btw, those were made in a mini-muffin pan, but imagine how big and delicious they would be made in my new stoneware muffin pan (that will never rust like all of my other muffin tins have after the first few uses; so thankful for that!)…

Now that you’ve had a nice little treat, let’s get started with a fun party game called, “Have it, love it – Love it, gotta have it!”

Here’s how it will work: I’ll show you a few things I have and love from Pampered Chef, as well as things I love and gotta have. Then you take a moment to look through the online catalog and tell me in the comment section below some things you have/love, love/gotta have.

When the party is over (Friday Sept. 30th), I’ll randomly choose 3 comments to win a free copy of The Pampered Chef’s Spring/Summer 2010 Season’s Best Recipe Collection (recently retired… which makes it a collector’s item, I hear.)

Just so you know what you’ll be getting in that fabulous little cookbook of 23 test kitchen recipes, here’s one of the recipes I’ll give everyone as a party favor!

Moroccan Chicken Crostini Melts
1 loaf (16 oz/450 g) French baguette
2 tbsp (30 mL) vegetable oil
2 tbsp (30 mL) Moroccan Rub, divided
1 1/2 cups (375 mL) finely diced cooked chicken breasts
1/3 cup (75 mL) mayonnaise
1/3 cup (75 mL) sour cream
1 cup (250 mL) shredded mozzarella cheese, divided
1/2 cup (125 mL) mixed dried fruit bits
Thinly sliced green onion and finely diced red bell pepper (optional)

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Using Color Coated Bread Knife, slice baguette into twenty-four 1/2-inch-thick (1-cm) slices; arrange in a single layer on Large Round Stone with Handles. Combine oil and 1 tsp (5 mL) of the rub in (1-cup/250-mL) Prep Bowl; brush over bread slices with Chef’s Silicone Basting Brush. Bake 4-5 minutes or until lightly toasted. Remove baking stone from oven to Stackable Cooling Rack.
  2. Meanwhile, finely dice chicken using Chef’s Knife. In Classic Batter Bowl, combine chicken, mayonnaise, sour cream and remaining 2 tsp (10 mL) plus 1 tbsp (15 mL) rub; mix well with Small Mix ‘N Scraper®. Stir in half of the cheese and fruit bits.
  3. Using Small Scoop, distribute chicken mixture evenly among bread slices; flatten slightly using back of scoop. Sprinkle chicken mixture with remaining cheese. Bake 5-6 minutes or until cheese is melted. Remove baking stone from oven. Garnish crostini with green onion and bell pepper, if desired.

YUM! Now, I’ve gone and got myself hungry! ;)

Ok, let me get the ball rolling… here are my items:

 Have it, Love it!

(click on the pictures to find more information about each item)

Square baking dish – great for making all kinds of dinners in.

square stoneware baking dish from Pampered Chef Round baking stone – Wonderful for pizzas, cookies, breads… for some reason helps me not burn things (which is great!). However, this stone really needs to be in the “Had it, Loved it until our babysitter warmed it up on the stove top and cracked it, so now I Love it, Gotta Have it” category.) ;)

large round stone for pizzas from pampered chefPizza Cutter – Wow, let me tell you… this pizza cutter is amazing and can cut through the thickest of things with very little effort at all! Have it, LOVE it!!Pizza cutter from pampered chef

There are SO many more items I could list, but I’ll stop here.

Btw, this is not only an online party with food, fun and prizes…

It’s a catalog show to offer you some great Pampered Chef items in the comfort of your own home (and your pjs, if you’d like). It’s also a great way for me, the hostess to earn some of those items on my wishlist for free (hostesses get perks such as free items and half price items… let Keri know if you’d like to host your own online catalog show), and an awesome opportunity to support a sweet new friend and Pampered Chef independent consultant, Keri Wilson, and her family as they minister to young adults and others around the world through www.nextworldwide.org.

Keri has recently started selling Pampered Chef products to help support her family financially and her daughter has enjoyed helping her mom in the business as part of their homeschool education. (You can learn more about Keri at her blog GoMakeHimFamous.com and more about her family’s ministry here.)

Now it’s your turn to tell me what you have and love or love and gotta have!

Click here to browse the online catalog. (FYI – There are 55 New items from Pampered Chef… new this month!)

If you’re like me, you’ll want to visit half-price section for sure! And, if you decide to order something online, make sure you notice the guest specials… The Apple Wedger or Mango Wedger are free with purchases of $60 or more.

I hope you have a GREAT time browsing the catalog and shopping!

Don’t forget to let me know what you have and love, or love and gotta have in the comment section below so you’re name can be in the drawing for a great Pampered Chef recipe collection!

Btw, if I get enough orders online to score some cool free stuff, I just might surprise one lucky commenter with an item under $20! If that were to happen, what would YOU choose? :)

All purchases will be shipped directly to you. This party (online order form and giveaway) will be open until the evening of Friday, Sept. 30th.

Feel free to invite your friends! You can share this through FB, twitter, pinterest, word of mouth, email… anyway you’d like!

All orders will be shipped out within 5-10 days of the close of the party… plenty of time to have them for Thanksgiving dinner or to start a little early Christmas shopping! (Do you even want to know that there are 89 days ’til Christmas at the time that I’m writing this? Yeah, I didn’t think so.) ;)

One last piece of business…

Your hostess name for online ordering, if asked, is:

First name – Michelle

Last name – SomeGirl

Oh I love Pampered Chef. My favorite items that I have {and I don’t have many} are the large bar pan and the measuring cups. I have the round stone but I have hardly ever used it. It is the old one so it has no handles and it’s hard to get out of the oven.

I’d love the kitchen shears, the Classic batter bowl, and the Measure all cup. I just might be able to swing a small order on Friday… I’ll have to see.

{As for the pineapple cutter, I got one at Aldi’s of all places that I love}

I have had the rectangle stone for years and nothing beats it for baking UNBURNED cookies! {’cause I walk away too often!} LOVE IT!

Eryn {mamahall}

Pampered Chef is one of my weaknesses! :)

HAVE it & LOVE it: i love everything i have from PC but just to name a few…pizza cutter, sandwich crust cutter/sealer, large glass batter bowl, wooden spatula set, tool turnabout, dishtowels, egg separator, ice cream dipper (PERFECT SCOOPS), corn butterer. i could go on and on…

LOVE it & Gotta HAVE it: round baking stone, Dripless Oil & Vinegar Bottles, chef’s tongs, & the Adjustable Tiered Tower.

fun party, chik. :) thanks!

I think I’ve got to have those kitchen shears and some of those sauces. Caramel sauce – yes please! And sauce it up! And I am so going to make those Moroccan Chicken Crostini Melts…

Natalie at Mommy on Fire

LOVE the chopper and the pizza stone for sure…The garlic press is pretty awesome too! OH yes – and those wonderful kitchen shears are PERFECT for cutting fresh herbs…
