Joy Made Alive Again {Day Twelve}

by SomeGirl on October 11, 2011 · 12 comments

Are you where you always thought you’d be in life?

Are you doing what you knew you wanted to do?

Has it turned out just as  you expected?

Do you want things to be different?

Do you feel like life has dealt you a rotten hand?

Is your heart burdened with pain, loss, fear, anxiety?

Have you lost all joy?

If so, today’s prayer for revival is just for YOU!

I, and my sweet friends reading and praying with me, will be praying for YOU all day long.

I pray that your joy will be made alive again!

I also pray that you will be able to take delight in whatever situation you are in.

I know you’re probably thinking, “Yeah… but, you don’t know my situation. You don’t know how bad it is.” And that’s true. I don’t.

But there is One who does. He not only knows your situation, He knows you and knew you’d be right where you are. He is waiting for you to come to Him and find rest for your weary soul.

He longs to fill your heart with what you’ve been missing for so, so long.

He loves you and has created you for a purpose.

What you are doing matters.

Where you are at is part of His master plan.

He can take the darkness and bring light. The sorrow and bring joy. The weeping and bring laughing. The mourning and bring dancing.

He can take those ugly ashes of your life…. the stuff that you hate at this very moment… and make something more beautiful than you could ever have imagined!

I pray that today will be a turning point for you; that you’ll be able to look back in the near future and not be able to believe things were as bad as they were. And that you will be filled with abundant, unexplainable JOY!

There are many of us praying for you today!

Thank you, dear sweet friends, for praying for revival for those who are hurting.

Love you bunches,

♥ Michelle (aka SomeGirl)

You are the healer of our hearts, the comforter of our souls.

You know us.

You know our joys and our sorrows.

You know what situations we are in.

You are not surprised by anything that happens in our lives.

And You have compassion on us.

You are strong enough to handle our feelings of anger and resentment.

And You are mighty enough to take those feelings from us and replace them with joy, if we ask.

I pray for my sweet friends who are hurting beyond belief, whose hearts are battered and bruised.

Please wrap them in Your arms today and let them feel Your touch.

Please take their sadness and turn it into joy.

Take their ashes and make beauty from them.

You are mighty and powerful. Yet, You are so close to the broken-hearted.

May my broken-hearted friends know that closeness today.

May You fill them with unexplainable JOY!

And may they have no one else to thank, but You!

My joy was made alive again earlier today by praying for the mom you requested prayer for on Facebook. God knows exactly who that woman is and He knows me – and He loves us! How amazing! This is great encouragement today, Michelle. Many blessings!

Praise God! And thank you SO much for praying… that meant a lot to me when I saw your reply on FB! {hugs}

I love this Michelle! And I can hear your sweet Texas voice praying this over so many today! Thank you!

:) I have to admit I went back and re-read this to try to hear my Texas voice, but I couldn’t hear it. ;)

Praying too! I know people don’t believe it, but it is so true. I can see how things that seemed like a pain to me at first were good. Example-I had gestational diabetes but had I not my son would not be here because they would not have been checking to see if he was too big and would not have caught his heart problem on ultrasound and we would not have known till it was too late. God really does know what he is doing. He doesn’t cause evil but knows how to bring good out of it!

He really does, doesn’t He?! What a GREAT testimony to that!

I pray for your spiritual protection friend! Your are doing a mighty work for the Lord and Satan is not happy. Revival if true and strong and I know I’m experiencing it! Thank you for spurring us on.
“Lead us not into temptation, but deliever her from evil. For thine is the power and the glory, for ever and ever. Amen!”

Thank you SO much, Heather!

Btw, I LOVE your photo book! I shared it on twitter and FB. I’ll share it again when I mention great Christmas gift ideas. :)

Needed this. Thank you.

I love it when that happens. :)

Oh Michelle, I love what God is doing through your 31 days series! Your words are speaking life and hope into so many souls this month. Thank you for sharing your heart for Christ with the world! Much love, my friend!

Thank you, Jana! I pray that would be true. Thank you for your encouraging words! Lots of love back to you!
