Let Your Pictures Tell a Story

When you’re out and about on a special day that you want to remember through photos, look for creative ways to show what was going on.

Try getting down on the ground and shooting the scenery.

Look up and shoot what’s over head.

Get closeup on the details. Assign yourself a task like finding curves, lines, color…

Look down. What do you see?

Shoot the same thing from a different angle (camera sitting on ground).

Show what was going on… without asking anyone to stop or smile. (Take TONS of pictures)

Look for the big picture… one that shows what the place you were at was like.

Try to capture why you were there or why you left in photo form.

Then enjoy reading your photographic story for years to come. :)
