No Need to Worry.

As much detail and care as God has put into these trees that lose their leaves every year, He’s put even more detail and care into us, His beloved children.

If we have things we are worrying about… things of tomorrow that we fear will come or never come… we have no need to worry. He has the details under control.

Let’s enjoy today, every colorful moment of it, and leave tomorrow in the hands of The One who cares for us more than we can know!

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear.

Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes?

Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them.

Are you not much more valuable than they?

Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life?

And why do you worry about clothes?

See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin.

Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these.

If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you—you of little faith?

So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’

For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them.

But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.

Matthew 6:25-34

Love the fall pictures Michelle! They are just beautiful! And I didn’t comment last week, but wanted to say that I really like Thought Provoking Thursdays and find the posts very encouraging!

Thank you, Lynn! I appreciate that! xoxo

Yea! I was hoping this would be your topic this week! Amazing pics, btw, too! :)

Oh, that’s funny! I wrote it for completely unrelated reasons, but looking back at it with our talk in mind I can see just how perfectly it goes with our discussion! Hmmm…. coincidence? I think not. ;)

Oops… forgot to say thank you… Thank you! ♥

You are quite the photographer! Loved the pics and loved the thoughts. So true! Thanks!

Lovely pictures! I enjoyed them as all of our leaves are down. It was an awesome reminder, too, that God took the time to craft each one of those leaves so imagine the care He has for us who mean so much more. Wow.

Beautiful reminder today to place our lives in the loving hands of the One who made us, loves us, and cares for us. Many blessings!

Love the pictures AND the reminder!! Needed that today! Love ya! :)

These photos take my breath away! Fall colors are what I miss most about living up North. But Florida more than makes up for it! Thanks for the lovely post reminding us that God cares for every sparrow and every hair on our head. Blessings to you and your ministry!

Oh, I revisit the “worry” passage often – and it always calms me down. Thank you :)

Gorgeous photos and love the post as I also visit that passage in Matthew on what seems like a regular rotating schedule.

Thanks for sharing!

I am brand new to your blog and I am smitten. This post is just what I needed; a perfect reminder. Thank you! I look forward to reading more.

Awww, aren’t you sweet! Thanks, Gretchen! I look forward to seeing you around here and getting to know you!

Thank you all for the kind comments! xoxo

Loved this post. If you didn’t know worry is my middle name. I need to keep this close to me somehow. And to say that these pictures are beautiful is an understatement.
