One Flaw in Women

by SomeGirl on February 5, 2010 · 4 comments

I received an email this morning and wanted to share it with all of you… it goes hand in hand with the post I’ve been mulling over in my head. I hope you find encouragement from it… a little fraddle for my girlfriends. ♥

Women have strengths that amaze men…..

They bear hardships and they carry burdens,

but they hold happiness, love and joy.

They smile when they want to scream.

They sing when they want to cry.

They cry when they are happy

and laugh when they are nervous.

They fight for what they believe in..

They stand up to injustice.

They don’t take “no” for an answer

when they believe there is a better solution.

They go without so their family can have.

They go to the doctor with a frightened friend.

They love unconditionally.

They cry when their children excel

and cheer when their friends get awards.

They are happy when they hear about

a birth or a wedding.

Their hearts break when a friend dies.

They grieve at the loss of a family member,

yet they are strong when they

think there is no strength left.

They know that a hug and a kiss

can heal a broken heart.

Women come in all shapes, sizes and colors.

They’ll drive, fly, walk, run or e-mail you

to show how much they care about you.

The heart of a woman is what

makes the world keep turning.

They bring joy, hope and love.

They have compassion and ideas.

They give moral support to their

family and friends.

Women have vital things to say

and everything to give.

HOWEVER, THE ONE FLAW IN WOMEN IS THEY FORGET THEIR WORTH.

To all the beautiful women around us:

Psalm 139: 13- 16 ” For You created my inmost being; You knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise You because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; Your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from You when I was made in the secret place. When I was woven together in the depths of the earth, Your eyes saw my unformed body. All the days ordained for me were written in Your book before one of them came to be.”

Genesis 1:27 “So God created man in his own image, in the image of God he created him, male and female he created them.”

1 John 3:16 “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us.”

Matthew 6:25-27 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? Who of you by worrying can add a single hour to his life?”

I know I’m late to the party on this one, but I LOVE LOVE LOVE it. Every woman, everywhere should see this and know this, really KNOW this in their hearts.
