We’ve had some BEAUTIFUL weather around here the past few days! Just right for fraddling around in one of our favorite ways with some of our FAVORITE people.

We didn’t catch anything, but we sure did have a GREAT time!

Hope you’ve had some nice fraddling times lately… If not, today would be a GREAT time to do something for or with someone just because they love what you’re doing!
Now I’m off to watch my littlest one play “Indiana Jones” with plastic cowboys, indians and dinosaurs (because sometimes fraddling is as simple as giving your full, undivided attention). :)
Hope you have a WONDERFUL day!
Love,
Michelle (aka SomeGirl)

Fraddling I think is just as important in the snow as by a pond. You seem like an excellent fraddler. I am glad I met you at Blissdom – and now get to read you. Happy “fraddling” day! God bless.
Thanks, Craig, you’re so kind! And I agree… fraddling is important no matter where you are! :)
May God bless you, too! ♥
Lovely photos!
Thank you, Ruth! ♥
Oh, doesn’t that look like fun! I’ve been under the weather, so I’m not out fishing, but we did hit 38 degrees today and the sun is shining as hard as it can! :-)
I am getting tired of the winter for you! ;) I know I said this already, but I’m saying it here, I hope you’re better now! Love ya! ♥
How fun that looks. My grandchildren love to go fishing with their parents. For which I’m quite glad. I did a lot of fishing as a kid, and know how fun it can be for little grandboys. But I was a bookworm who preferred to read rather than deal with wiggly bait – hehehehe. So I leave the fun fishing to them and enjoy the pictures of them AND you. Happy Sweet Shot Tuesday.
Hehe… your description of your preference for books over wiggly bait made me smile (as did your sweet shots post). :) Thanks for stopping by and taking the time to comment! ♥ Michelle
How I love that fraddle word! And I think of it often when I’m doing it, when I suddenly realize that I’m doing it. Do you have any other made-up words? I don’t tell many people this, because they usually look at me weird, but I have a special word for little kids (tots) and puppies. I call them “crodies.” Pronounced croe-dees. Seriously. I don’t know why. I made it up when I was little and it just stuck, all these years. It is basically an all-encompassing term for the cutest things ever. Babies and puppies. :)
Awww, you think of it when you’re fraddling?? That’s so neat to hear (and warms my heart)!!
I’ve thought of your word a few times driving around since I read your comment (but somehow didn’t manage to comment back until just now… oops!) I’ve found myself wondering how to use it correctly in a sentence… “Aw, look at those crodies.” (Is that it?) :)
I’m also very curious as to how you came up with it…
Fraddle is my only made up word. Although, I like to use President Bush’s made up words sometimes for fun… strategery. ;)
Yep, I sure do. And I give you an A+ on your grammatical usage for “crodies.” Stategery is awesome. So is nuc-yoo-lar.
Hahaha… I totally used to say nuc-yoo-lur! I even remember being taught that it was something different than nuclear… Must be a Texas thing! ;) lol
Thanks for the gold star in grammar! :)
Ha! Must be! Just don’t check out any books from the li-berry.
Haha!!! You just made me laugh out loud!!! (My boys looked at me like I was crazy) I cringe when I hear authors say their books are in the li-berry!! LOL!
Looks like your boys had a great time!
Hugs to you my friend! Miss you!
Hugs to you, too! I’m loving your Weight Loss Wednesday posts (ok, I love all your posts)! Btw, I changed link up services for thought-provoking Thursday… I’d love to have you link up! :)
Gorgeous photos! Weather has been lovely here too. Lots of projects and general feelings of well-being in our family. Such a happy time in our lives – I’m so thankful!
Isn’t it amazing how the weather affects our general well-being?! I can’t wait to see the photos you’ve been taking! :) (Loved your photo with Sally Clarkson, btw!)
Your fraddling is why I fell in love with your blog! So nice to see your perfect day!
Oh, Betsy!! You are SO SWEET! Your comment brought such a warm feeling to my heart… thank you!! Love you!! ♥
I LOVE your photos, Michelle! They totally capture the fun of the day – and the spirit of fraddling! :)
What a wonderful compliment! ♥ Thank you, Deb!
