My Go-To Finger Food For Group Events

Just before the Super Bowl, I got online to find something good to make for our party. I surfed around, but didn’t find anything that struck my fancy. Then I stepped over to the “corner store” (Twitter) and shouted out, “Anyone making something good for the Super Bowl??” A couple of people replied with some things that sounded good and not so good, then someone suggested these…

Oh my, they were SO good! They were even so good that, Monday, when we had friends from church coming over for an impromptu game night, I made them again… and out of 24 halves we only had 2 left (perfect for lunch)!

The recipe is easy to follow and the cost is relatively low.

For a batch of 24 halves (12 wraps cut diagonally in half) I used 2 packages of spinach tortilla wraps, 1 large package of ham sandwich meat, 1 large package of turkey sandwich meat, 1 package of bacon, 1 package of baby spinach, 2 red bell peppers, 2 cucumbers, and a 12 oz bottle of seasoned mayo. (see full recipe details here)

And they took very little effort to prepare.

They are definitely on my list of go-to finger foods for group events!

If you have a group of people to entertain anytime soon, I’d HIGHLY recommend them! And if you don’t, now you have a great excuse to invite some friends or family over to fraddle around and try out a new recipe! :)

Btw, I am paying attention to what day it is and have Thursday’s thought-provoking post and link up nearly ready to go (unlike last week). ;)

Hope to see you back here tomorrow!

If only you lived closer! Btw, I thought about you when I heard you guys were getting some ridiculous amount of snow last week… did I hear 20″? Is that possible??

Hope you’re feeling better (I haven’t made it back to reply to your comment when you were under the weather).

Man, now that I think about it I have tons of things to say or ask you… going all the way back to your post about Al Gore not showing up in your area (we have joked about him and global warming all winter).

I’ll try to make time to comment at your place and reply at mine soon! xoxo
