Sometimes you just need a break.
Some time alone in peace and quiet.
And a nice big cup of warm Chamomile tea.

And that’s okay. :)
Something I’m thinking about as I sip on that cup of tea.
(Can you tell what kind of week it’s been?) ;)

I have had those weeks! ;0) ….it is good to take a minute!
How exciting — a new camera!
I loved “mommying” but as you say, sometimes we just need a break. A peace and quiet break. My husband would take one look at me and say, “I need daddy time–go take a bath.” Best place for peace and quiet!
I want to link this up with you, but can’t do it at work, so I’ll be back:

It’s linked up now. :)
Looking forward to reading some great posts!! Thanks Michelle for bringing everyone together!
It’s so true. And it’s so important to recognize that taking that break is okay… not a waste of time. The cleaning and whatever else will still be there after my break, and I’ll be able to do it even better because I’m rested – mentally and physically. Great post.
Very wise words my friend. This is something I’m learning these days…especially as I’ve been sick this week. We all need rest and time alone. I pray your week is better today!
I’ve had plenty of these types of days.. weeks recently. I often sit in the early morning hours, just me and my cup of.. coffee that is drowning in creamer and dancing with sugar. I never quiet finish the cup, but its so nice just to sit in the stillness.
Blessings,
Misty
Awh. Wish I could sit down and share a cup of tea with you.
Oh, I needed permission to do this…
Thank you and Happy TPT!
A hot cup of herbal tea is one of my favorite me-breaks, too! I just sometimes forget … will remember tonight! :)
