The Beginning Not The End

As we come to the end of our Christmas celebration and the end of the year may we remember that the birth of Christ was not the end, but rather the beginning of God’s plan to redeem His people.

Christ didn’t stay a baby in the manger. He grew in wisdom and stature and favor with God and man. He lived a perfect, sinless life and grew into a man – a man that would give sight to the blind, cause the lame to walk, heal many, and be beaten, hung on a cross and die for the payment of OUR sins.

Let’s not let our celebration of Christ’s birth end with the storing away of our trees and lights. Let’s celebrate all the more as we approach the new year and do as Mary did, pondering all these things in our hearts as we approach the celebration of Christ’s resurrection in a few months.

And may you have a Happy New Year! I’ll be back to post more soon. For now, I’m off enjoying a little extra time with my guys… Fraddling around a bit more than normal.

With Lots of Love,

Michelle (aka SomeGirl)

Merry Christmas Michelle and may 2011 be the best yet!
