What Would You Do (Thought-Provoking Thursday)

What would you do if today were your last day with the ones you love?

Why not do it now?

Something to think about.

It’s interesting that something so thought-provoking is so terrifying to think about. But that’s definitely an important thought – and I love the concept of treasuring every minute with the ones I love.

I know, right? If only we could treasure ever moment… it’s so easy to get caught up in the everyday-ness of life. Here’s to treasuring our minutes! :)

HI sweet friend….sorry I don’t have a link for today….and this question….comes at an amazing time.

My SIL’s Father died this week…..he officiated my Mother’s Funeral. I sat by her bed the last two days she was here…..I read and held her hand. I talked about days when I was little…..when she was the strong one, taking care of me…..and I cherish those moments. I wish she could have talked to me….but, she could not and was not awake…..but, I spent those moments loving her….and holding her. If today….was my last day (and I knew it)….I would spend every moment holding my children, writing to them, calling everyone and telling them, I LOVE them…and most of all Jesus loves them….that’s what is most important…at least to me.

Oh, Rebecca… SO sorry to hear about your loss then and now. What a blessing that you were able to spend those days with your mom. And what a GREAT example you lay before us in how you would spend your last day. May we all live like today is the last and follow your example. Thank you!

Great question; hard to answer.

Glad to finally link up. {Was I supposed to put the name of the post???}

SO glad you linked up. Sorry it took me so long to reply! Putting the name of the post (or a catchy line from the post) seems to draw more visits, so I’d say yes, put the name of the post. :) Hope you link up again!

Finally got on today! As to your questions…I’d like to think I’m doing everything I would if I found out this was the last day.
Thanks Michelle!

What a wonderful way to live! May we all live so well! xoxo

I think I’d try to pick up the phone and get all of those near and dear to me at the same place. This is a scary thought but a good reminder of what is important in life. I try to let those dear to me know that they are regularly. In some ways I don’t even think I could publicly write my first response that came to mind.

Wishing everyone a life full of great love and peace.

its good to share time with your loved ones… but some times it drains me out when they start demanding for every ounce of my attention… m finding it sooooooooooo tough

I know exactly how you feel. It’s good to share time with them and it’s good to have time alone… I’ll be praying you find some relaxing time alone to recharge! And that you are filled with unexplainable energy as you meet those demands (which can sometimes seem to be unending)… sending hugs and prayers your way! Love, Michelle
